We Started Because of Barbara. We Fight On for All Women.

The Barbara T. Ferraro Foundation was the idea of Barbara T. Ferraro, who died of ovarian cancer in 2023.

From the moment Barbara was diagnosed and along her six-year battle with ovarian cancer, she was determined to help as much as she was being helped. Barbara was always there for anyone she met that was battling cancer. She would immediately listen to their story, share hers and pray for them daily, all while staying in constant communication to share their victories and struggles. In keeping with Barbara’s life focus to love and love more, and her last wish to beat ovarian cancer, we are working relentlessly and with a laser focus to bring about a cure.

State-of-the-art cancer management protocols are a direct result of basic science research and clinical trials that help establish standard of care practices. It is essential to continue this process by supporting innovative research efforts in the search for breakthrough medications that will eliminate cancer.

Funding support by grassroots organizations such as the Barbara T. Foundation, dedicated to fighting ovarian cancer is the critical key, and advances could never be possible without incredible people doing incredible things through clinical research.
